Marketing Assistant [United Kingdom]

THE JOB
- you will work directly under our CEO, Susanna Michalek
- we are flexible in tailoring the scope of work to your individual talents and ambitions, so do let us know where you want your professional career to take you
- we are looking for people, who are eager to combine creative and strategic work
- you should be available 5 days a week, Monday to Friday (but do let us know about your availability and circumstances, as we value flexible working hours)
- the role combines working with:

  • branding
  • marketing strategy
  • social media strategy
  • social media execution (content creation, community management, reporting, optimizing)
  • copywriting
  • graphic design

Our team doesn't have an HQ, as everyone works from their own spot on the map.

Depending on your experience and the scope of work you will take on, we can negotiate a base pay which will later be raised, based on progression and the growth in your independence. We will discuss a detailed plan and milestones during recruitment.
SUMORI Media is a company registered under Polish law and we can offer you a freelance contract ("Umowa Zlecenie") or you can invoice us (which applicants residing in the UK should be able to do up until a certain threshold, even without a registered business).

WHO ARE YOU?
We are looking for an eager to learn, resourceful person who's passionate about brands and online communities. This position is also open to entry-level applicants with no previous experience - you will learn plenty with us!
You need to be proficient in English (to an extent that allows you to communicate with clients and partners), however additional languages, especially Polish, German and French would be of high benefit.

We don't care if you have a degree. What we care about is whether you're ambitious and eager to create.

Please note, that while we are aware of the fact that we are offering positions to (more or less) inexperienced people and we are very eager to share knowledge and experience, we do expect you to be motivated and committed, as a remote working environment requires some extent of discipline to begin with. We want you to take ownership of your projects and initiatives, regardless of whether you're an intern or manager. What will ideally increase with time is your independence, as you start out assisting and hopefully grow to initiate and lead. We hope for you to fully experience the outcomes of your work in real markets and business settings.
