The Black Bull is now hiring F&B assistants for shifts that cover the extensive restaurant and pavilion operations. The Black Bull has forged a strong regional reputation for outstanding food and service and we're looking for outgoing people to join our fast paced team.
This role is ideal for anyone looking for flex working around child care, university holiday, second job etc.
Previous experience in a similar setting will be advantageous although full training for each role will be provided before our re-opening.

· Participation in all training, development and appraisal programmes. We take training really seriously and we have an online portal that provides our complete playbook. We're working to go paperless and yet provide everything you need.
· Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and presentation, adhering to the Profession Presentation Standards policy at all times.
· Maintain standards of excellence, within customer service, etiquette and knowledge.
· Take customer orders for food and beverage using every opportunity for upselling wines, beers and spirits.
· Serve food and beverage to tables and satisfy every customer need
· Work collaboratively as a team across all restaurant, bar and kitchen functions, and with all other departments within the Inn as required.
· Operate within the guidelines of consumer and licensing legislation.
· Adhere to all H&S, COSHH and Food Safety requirements at all times.
· Be aware of and observe all safety and security procedures and report any hazards or incidents to the duty manager immediately.
· Adhere to all Company policy as stipulated in the Employee Handbook.
· To perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
· Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping of the food service area, floor areas, toilets and equipment.
· Muti-skill across all restaurant, bar and conference functions.
· Adhere to cash handling policy.
This role is flexible covering up to 16 hours a week but may be more or less depending on business levels.
